Laura and Matt met as NYU undergrads through the All-University Gospel Choir. The two were friends for a year-and-a-half before Matt brought up the idea of a relationship. Unfortunately, it was just when Laura was about to graduate and move to South America for several months. We decided to work through it, and so our first months together were long-distance, Laura says.
