Halfway through the show, Laney handed off the camera to a nearby gentleman. Just as the couple started to wave at the camera, Laney dropped to one knee and popped the question. Laura was so surprised it took prompting from the crowd to snap her out of her daze and remind her she had to answer him. Of course, she said yes! Fourteen months later, they were married in an evening ceremony inside a glass-enclosed chapel at Ashton Gardens.

The groom wore a green orchid with lily grass and feathers.
To complement their royal blue chiffon dresses, the bridesmaids carried ribbon-wrapped bouquets of green cymbidium orchids, lily grass, and fern curls accented with crystal pins and peacock feathers.
The delicious five-tiered, round cake was filled with raspberry mousse and Bavarian cream. Cymbidium orchids and crystal sprays added a burst of color to the white fondant.
The outside cover of the ceremony programs were decorated with peacock feathers and a monogrammed gold seal.
A DJ played George Strait's I Cross My Heart for the couple's first dance.
The reception took place in Ashton Gardens' ballroom where tables were topped with peacock feathers and orchids.
