She’s at one nearly every weekend, capturing special moments as one of the country’s top wedding photographers and a wedding and portrait studio owner. As a matter of fact, a client first set her up with John. The Bride Laura Novak, 30, photographer and wedding/portrait studio owner The Groom John Meyer, 33, marketing strategist The Date February 2 John popped the question during a trip to San Francisco where Laura was hired to shoot a wedding. But when it came time to plan her own, Laura asked invite designer Vanessa Kreckel of Two Paperdolls to create a classic yet modern motif and event planner Melissa Paul of Evantine Design to pull together a black, white and pink color palette. The result was an all-things-pink wedding full of modern elegance and lots of details.
