The Bride Laura Kay Brockway The Groom Eric Sirianni The Date May 28 San Antonio native Laura Kay Brockway and New Yorker Eric Sirianni are living proof that absence makes the heart grow fonder. After meeting as undergrads at Dartmouth, the two managed to stay together even as Laura attended law school in Indiana and Eric studied for his masters in California. And after an elegant wedding at the Westin Riverwalk Hotel, the two have finally settled down in the same state.

Laura carried a nosegay of cream peonies, pink roses, stephanotis, green hydrangea, and blue delphinium. Her maids carried similar bouquets with slightly deeper colors.
Laura and Eric cut a three-tier square cake banded with silvery blue ribbon and decorated with piped geometric designs. A silver S topped it off amidst a cloud of stephanotis. The groom's cake, frosted with chocolate decadence, was decorated with tuxedo-style chocolate-covered strawberries.
The reception took place in the Hidalgo Ballroom of The Westin Riverwalk Hotel. Laura and Eric had fallen in love with the room's romantic ambience: gold-leaf chandeliers, damask walls, and balconied windows overlooking the Riverwalk. A blue and white theme, inspired by the bride's gown and the wedding invites, set the tone for the elegant, understated decor.
Laura wore a strapless gown in white duchesse satin with a French blue taffeta sash by Amsale. The gown's color inspired much of the wedding day decor. For her four bridesmaids Laura chose ice blue A-line dresses by Thread with an ivory organdy sash and trim at the neckline and hem.
