Years after meeting at Duke University, Larissa Andrews and Craig Silberberg were in Chicago’s Millennium Park when Craig gave Larissa the surprise of her life. “It was a total surprise to me, because Craig kept refusing to talk about getting married. I thought he wasn’t ready, but in reality, he was just trying really hard to keep the proposal a secret!” she remembers. “I forgot to say ‘yes’ when he was down on one knee and had given me the ring -- I was that surprised!” The Bride Larissa Andrews, 26, assistant film editor The Groom Craig Silberberg, 29, bond trader The Date May 20 Larissa’s family lives in Minnesota and Colorado while Craig hails from Connecticut, so the couple decided to bring everyone together in the middle with a Chicago wedding. They chose The Notebaert Nature Museum for its great indoor and outdoor spaces -- not to mention the fact that guests could tour the museum during the event! A palette of moss greens and whites -- with a splash of orange, Larissa’s favorite color -- brought everything together for a simply elegant, naturally inspired affair.
