How do you have a small wedding with big impact? For San Franciscans Laila and Eric, Hawaii was the answer. Once they laid eyes on the White Orchid House, a private home in South Maui, they never looked back. A mix of tropical blooms and Hawaiian traditions -- think Hawaiian prayers and customized leis for each of their thirty guests -- gave this destination wedding a homespun feel.

The three-tiered wedding cake was accented with white and pink orchids and buttercream pearl trim.
Married by a Hawaiian minister -- and wearing traditional leis -- the pair walked down an aisle of hot pink rose petals.
Laila's all-white orchid bouquet featured hanging tiny white blooms.
The Reception Decor
Cool black river rock and white and pink orchids surrounded cylinders of water served as centerpieces.
Replicating the ceremony setup, banquet tables and lei-covered chairs were set under fabric canopies overlooking the ocean.
To coordinate with Laila's bouquet, her girls carried pink arrangements accented with hanging pink ribbons.
