Lace Detailed Gown

My grandmother wore a beautiful ankle length dress for her wedding to my grandfather in 1955 and I always admired her shape and style. My mother also wore an ankle length dress for her wedding, and so I somehow felt destined for a “short dress”. I also favor fit-and-flare dresses in my everyday life so a style that was fitted to my natural waist and flared out was a comfortable style for me, which I felt I could pull off. I wanted to feel beautiful and special on my wedding day, but also comfortable and like myself. The dress I chose allowed this says the bride.
