Three and a half years after meeting at work, Ryan planned a low-key proposal to girlfriend Kylene. Attached to it was a heart-shaped keychain. When she turned over the keychain it was engraved with the words, Will you marry me? She immediately accepted and they set about planning their dream wedding. Inspired by her years as a wedding photographer, Kylene knew that she wanted to do the planning herself and spent the next 16 months putting together every detail for their garden wedding.

A chalkboard, with each name written in white, directed guests to their tables. The tables were all named after different types of cake.
Kylene decided on a lush bouquet of pink roses, double-ruffle tulips and hypericum berries.
Pink roses and brown berries decorated the guys' lapels.
Kylene and Ryan exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony officiated by their good friend and neighbor. They incorporated a family medallion ceremony where they presented Ryan's daughter with a pink pearl necklace featuring her monogram and the wedding date.
Guests sipped on the RyeKyes -- a light pink mai tai style drink made with dark rum, mango puree, spiced cordial syrup and sour mix garnished with cinnamon sticks and monogrammed swizzle sticks.
The Reception Decor
Guest took home leftover cake in white boxes sealed with pink cherry blossom printed labels.
Brown envelopes sealed with pink and brown polka dot ribbons and customized labels held the pink invitations.
The bridesmaids carried mini versions of the bride's pink and white bouquet.
In lieu of flowers or candles, a two-tiered round cake iced in pink or brown topped each table.
Pink sugar flowers decorated the three-tiered, buttercream cake.
Perfect for the outdoor event, Kylene chose a lightweight, cap-sleeved, beaded gown with a ruffled hem.
Mason jars filled with coffee beans and pink carnations hung from Shepard's hooks along the aisle.
