Kristen and Jason were relaxing with 14 friends at the scenic Bass Lake over Labor Day Weekend when a typical barbeque took a romantic turn with a toast. Jason told everyone to raise a glass and the next thing Kristen knew, he was down on one knee with a gorgeous ring in hand. With her parents in Connecticut, Kristen relied on her married girlfriends and the Internet to assist in organizing the wedding. I planned 90 percent of my wedding on the web! Kristen exclaims. She designed the wedding programs from her home computer, dedicating the back page to friends and family -- especially her grandmother Esther, who sadly passed away two weeks before the wedding.
