Kirsten & Chad: An Outdoor Wedding in Aspen, CO

Kirsten and Chad share a love for Aspen. It's where they met, fell in love, and eventually promised to spend the rest of their lives together. The two were introduced through mutual friends at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Festival, and they spent a lot of time during their relationship in the Aspen Highlands. He was walking much slower than his usual pace, yet he still managed to reach the top of the summit before Kirsten. When she got there he greeted her with a big hug and said, I love you, I really do love you a lot, and then he slipped a ring on Kirsten's finger and asked her to marry him. The couple skied back down the mountain and called everyone they knew to join them for a champagne celebration. It only seemed natural to hold their ceremony atop Aspen Mountain eight months later, with the very same spot where Chad had proposed as their backdrop.
