For Kimberly Anne (Kimber) Smith and Andres Ramos, there was no formal wedding proposal. After 9/11, we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. One night at dinner we said simultaneously, 'We should get married' -- and the date was set!' reports Kimber. THE BRIDE Kimberly Anne Smith, an office manager THE GROOM Andres Ramos, a property superintendent THE DATE January 26 Kimber, who works long hours, relied heavily on the Internet for her wedding research. We planned everything from scratch, she says, and we bought everything ourselves: from the beer, wine, and alcohol to the tablecloths and hangers. The setting, a TriBeCa loft, was chosen, according to Kimber, because we wanted our wedding to flow through several spaces as if our guests were flowing through an art gallery.
