The skies were certainly friendly for Kerri Dircksen and Benjamin (Ben) Starkey. The two were working for Atlantic Coast Airlines when Ben boarded the plane one day to fix Kerri’s jump seat. “I knew something was there from the very first moment, and apparently he did too,” says Kerri. She made the first move and asked him out, and their first date was spent in what could be considered a less than romantic situation: Ben helped her move into a new apartment. At their travel-theme wedding a little more than a year later, their cake was designed to look like a stack of suitcases, and guests were sent home with custom-made luggage tags.
