The luck of the Irish helped Kelly meet Dustin. The two crossed paths while out celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at an Irish pub. When Dustin walked in, two of Kelly’s friends noticed him immediately. Lucky for her, he knew one of the people in Kelly’s group and they were introduced. A year-and-a-half later, while spending the day at Adler Planetarium—one of their favorite spots in the city because of its amazing views of the skyline—they grabbed a bottle of wine and spent some time wandering around.
