After exchanging vows in a quaint chapel on a bluff overlooking the St. Joseph River, Keila Pérez and Reno Rankin celebrated amid an amazing array of flowers. The Bride Keila Pérez, 30, civil engineer The Groom Reno Rankin, 30, computer programmer The Date June 26 Though Keila and Reno met in 2002 through mutual friends, the two didn’t realize they were perfect for each other until the following summer, when they worked side-by-side to organize social activities for their church. A year later, Reno surprised Keila with a romantic serenade, followed by an even bigger surprise: he then got on his right knee and asked her to marry him.

Beautiful blooms were one detail that Keila and Reno made sure they didn’t overlook. The couple incorporated green cymbidium orchids, white and green dendrobium orchids, purple Trachelium, lavender Allure roses, cream roses, jade and supergreen roses, Queen Anne’s lace, green hypericum, bells of Ireland, green and variegated pittosporum, salal for the greenery, and green curly willow.
The Reception Decor
Keila wore a La Sposa gown with a silk gauze skirt and a Spanish lace corset.
The bride carried a bouquet of green cymbidiums wrapped in “Milky Way” aspidistra.
The place card table was adorned with a natural moss carpet.
