Keely Williams and Adam Reed didn’t want a cookie-cutter wedding -- so they added a Far East touch to many key elements, creating an unforgettable Asian-inspired celebration. The Bride Keely Williams, 24 The Groom Adam Reed, 23 The Date July 2 This twosome met at a Halloween party, where Keely was dressed as a flapper. As she recalls, “Adam was wearing a really ugly pink tux with a wig.” Luckily, she didn’t let a silly costume deter her from dating him, and a year later, Adam proposed at the Opryland Hotel at Christmastime.

The only decoration needed at First Methodist Church was one large orchid and bamboo arrangement at the altar. The church featured a long aisle, which Keely waltz down with aplomb to the sounds of “The Notebook” by Aaron Zigman.
The Accessories
The large warehouse space featured a concrete floor, large chandelier, and huge dance floor and stage accented by twinkling white lights. Each round table was topped with a centerpiece made from bamboo, orchids, green moss, and candles. Large white paper lanterns covered the ceiling, while parasols, bamboo, and willow branches hung over the dance floor.
Keely wore a champagne-colored satin Lazaro gown that served as inspiration for the day. Tied about the waist was a kimono-like gold sash embroidered with a pink and brown cherry blossom motif.
Keely’s six bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses by Eden. The strapless latte-colored dresses featured chocolate embroidered sashes to match the bride’s gown.
Keely carried pink miniature calla lilies accented with orchids and cream-colored feathers. Her bridesmaids wore large orchids in their hair, and carried sandalwood fans in lieu of bouquets.
