Shortly after being introduced, Kathleen Proch and David Kiehl realized they had loads in common -- including the same birthday. The two chatted for awhile and as they parted ways, David promised to call on their shared birthday. He phoned later in the week instead, and from that moment on the two were inseparable. He proposed on the first day of autumn (Kathleen's favorite time of year) and the two married in a country-theme autumn celebration at a local winery. The four-tier square wedding cake was adorned with cascading grapes to accentuate the site, a winery. David chose the design and he did a great job! Kathleen says.
Kathleen made the bouquets and flower girl baskets using silk flowers and simply clustering them together and wrapping the stems in satin. I thought it made for a very simple, clean look, she says.
