Kate and Tim first met while working at the same summer job. She was busing tables, and he was a host at a Williamsburg restaurant. Though Tim was too shy to approach her, Kate found out through another coworker that he was interested. One day, Kate asked Tim if he’d be going out with their friends from work that night, but he didn’t think he could make it. Luckily, he did, and after chatting all evening the two finally exchanged numbers. A few minutes later, she heard rocks being tossed at her bedroom window, and when she looked outside, she saw Tim. Confused, she ran downstairs to let him in -- and he pulled out an engagement ring. After a heartfelt proposal, they couldn’t help but wake Kate’s family to share the good news!

Kate and Tim wed in a midday ceremony that featured a traditional Catholic mass. Their ceremony site, the chapel on the campus of the College of William & Mary, featured a black-and-white checkered floor and an elaborately decorated altar.
Kate and Tim cut a round, three-tiered cake with real pearls bordering the bottom of each tier. Fresh flowers topped off the confection.
Kate let her five bridesmaids choose the style of dress they wanted in peridot.
At Kate and Tim's reception, the head table was adorned with heart-shape vases with floating candles and pale green crystal pebbles, as well as low arrangements of green hydrangea.
Kate wore an ivory empire-waist gown embellished with tiny pearls.
