A blind date opened Kamala and Craig’s eyes to true love. Kamala and Craig were set up by Craig’s twin brother’s brother-in-law, and they had their first date at a local bar in New York City, where they both live. The Bride Kamala Frankel, 30, sales manager The Groom Craig Katz, 31, financial advisor The Date May 6 The two hit it off, and one Friday night around Valentine’s Day Kamala came home to find a card on their apartment door that read, “I have a very unexpected surprise for you behind this door, and I can’t wait to see your reaction.” Figuring it was a Valentine surprise, Kamala walked right in and found the apartment filled with candles, flowers, and rose petals, and Craig dropped to one knee and proposed. There was only one problem: “He had two video cameras going, to capture the moment, and they both failed!” Kamala says. Not to worry, though -- even without video, it wasn’t a moment they were about to forget.
