Though the couple lives in Chicago, they planned a New Mexican-themed fete that wowed out-of-town guests and celebrated the location’s unique heritage. Despite a less-than-perfect evening, however, a good thing got started when Kaitlin and Brad found each other on the dance floor. “We are still grateful for our disastrous dates,” she laughs. With 300 guests flying in from around the country as well as Europe, Kaitlin and Bradley strived for authentic New Mexico flavor. At the rehearsal dinner, a mariachi band played poolside amid a breathtaking view of the Sandia mountains. Later that weekend, the reception was held at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa located on the Santa Ana Indian Reservation overlooking the Rio Grande River.
