Julie and Tommy met in physical therapy school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The couple didn’t get to know each other until their last year in school, but then became good friends. After both had graduated and moved away, their feelings developed into something more and the two began dating. The couple soon began planning a wedding back in the city where they first met.
