Julie and Marcus' first encounter was like something out of a fairy tale. Julie was early for a class and Marcus was early for an audition -- both decided to wait in a nearby cafe. The Bride Julie Smucker The Groom Marcus Fuller The Date June 5 They struck up a conversation, and before they left they had plans to meet again. Just five months later, Marcus proposed. The couple married at a celebration splashed with shades of crimson in a Shakespearean-themed garden in Akron.

Each guest received a Smucker's umbrella and a long-stem red rose. Julie explains, The umbrellas represented both my family's history and an emergency rain plan, even though it didn’t rain.
Since Marcus and Julie both love Shakespeare, the ceremony was made up of quotes about love and marriage from many of Shakespeare's plays.
