Julie and Christian shared their friends and families during the course of their relationship and on their wedding day, they incorporated special touches to acknowledge the impact their 175 guests played in their lives over the years. The Bride Julie Petralia, 25, education consultant The Groom Christian Derderian, 27, engineer The Date June 25 Christian took Julie sledding on their first date in middle school -- which was on the playground at age 13. We decided we were going to 'go out,' although neither of us could drive, says Julie. The relationship lasted through high school and then college, despite attending different schools. I don't think anyone was surprised when we decided to get married! the bride laughs.

The bride carried a white bouquet filled with roses, stephanotis, hydrangea and peonies.
Julie and Christian spent 10 days in Barbados and Petite Saint Vincent. PSV is a perfect place to wind down and is one of the most private, relaxing and beautiful places to have a honeymoon, says Julie. Christian adds, We're already talking about going back...and bringing our families and friends with us!
Julie and Christian wove a beach theme throughout the formal reception. Guests found their seating cards on a display of white Adirondack chair placecard holders and seashells adorned the bars.

The Wedding Party Looks
Julie wore an Eve of Milady strapless A-line gown with silver beading. Her mother added a special touch, making both of Julie's veils -- a cathedral-length veil for the ceremony and a fingertip-length veil for the reception. She also wore diamond chandelier earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet from her parents.

Julie and Christian served a full meal of salad and surf and turf, and also treated guests to late night petit fours and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
Julie and Christian chose the grand ballroom of the Wentworth Hotel for their reception.
