Josh & Brian: A Formal Wedding in Linwood, NJ

Brian and Josh arranged for buses to take guests from their hotel on the Atlantic City boardwalk to the reception in Linwood. White-gloved waiters serving champagne met the guests as they came off the buses.
For their guests’ escort cards, the couple’s florist created a brown display board for the entrance to the reception.
The groomsmen rented tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse. Baby blue vests and ties coordinated with the blue and brown color scheme.
Brian and Josh wore custom-made tuxedos by Tom James of New York.
Blue hydrangea centerpieces sat on all the reception tables, which were covered in blue linens.
The couple paired brown and blue (one of Brian’s favorite colors) for their wedding colors, which reinforced the beach theme.
The blue wedding cake was decorated with dark chocolate seashells to incorporate the beach location. A cake topper of the couple finished it off.
Brian and Josh were married under an elegant huppah, which their florist fashioned out of pressed box fabric and white flowers.
Brian and Josh’s bridesmaids wore strapless, floor-length, chocolate-brown dresses from Ann Taylor and carried blue bouquets designed by Somers Point Florists.
The cocktail hour was held on the Linwood Country Club’s outdoor patio right off the golf course, with views of the Atlantic City skyline in the background.
Brian and Josh choreographed their first dance to “Glory of Love,” by Peter Cetera.
At the end of their wedding ceremony, Brian and Josh both broke the glass to represent a shared responsibility in their marriage.
In honor of Atlantic City, guests received decks of playing cards with Josh’s and Brian’s initials and the date of the wedding on the front of each card.
