He took her by the hand and led her to the porch and over to her late father's favorite chair where he asked Jillian to be his wife. Even though Jillian's dad was not there to give Jared his blessing it turns out he had gotten the stamp of approval years before. Her father actually got the chance to meet Jared while he was alive and afterward told Jillian that he wished she would date a nice boy like Jared one day. It's funny how things worked out as planned.
