If someone told Jill that she'd meet her future husband at a bar called The Pump Room, she wouldn't have believed it. But, while she was living in Chicago, that’s where she met Terrence, who was visiting from Columbus. They hit it off right away and started dating long distance. While in Ireland, Terrence got down on one knee in front of the ruins of an old Catholic church. It was such an incredible setting; I was speechless of course, says Jill. Soon after, the two headed to Belgium. Jill was astounded to find out that Terrence had invited her entire family there for a surprise engagement party! Though they didn't have a specific theme in mind, the couple knew they wanted an outdoor wedding. So, for their event about a year later, they planned their details around their tented locale. In honor of their Ireland engagement, they chose green as their primary wedding color and accented it with white and black.
