With an undeniable connection, even through email, Jennifer and Kevin hit it off from the start. Set up by a mutual friend, Jennifer and Kevin emailed initially while he was in Mexico for work and she was living in Los Angeles. After six weeks of flirtatious messages, they went on their first date. As they watched the sunset at the Getty Museum and had dinner overlooking the Hollywood Hills, the two talked effortlessly for hours. After two years of dating, the couple took a trip up the California coast. On the way back, their car was struck by a fire engine. Luckily, both escaped serious injuries but it was at that moment they realized they couldn't live without each other. The Bride Jennifer Zankan, 32, owner of a public relations/marketing firm The Groom Kevin Berson, 33, director of product management The Date June 9 That January, Kevin surprised Jennifer with a trip to Paris. Under the Eiffel Tower, he proposed. A year and half later they married in a fairy-tale wedding with an old Hollywood glam theme.

The escort cards were placed on three large easels covered in black and cream damask fabric and topped with floral arrangements of black magic roses with plum calla lilies. Each card was placed in a silver envelope addressed with calligraphy.
The aisle, made to look like a red-carpet movie premiere, was lined with mirrored vases filled with red roses.
In lieu of a cake, the couple wanted a tower of mini cupcakes in an assortment of delicious flavors like key lime, Meyer lemon-raspberry, vanilla bean and chocolate ganache. Each tier was covered in black and cream damask fabric and trimmed with orchids and crystal brooches. The top tier held a small square cake for cutting.
The bridesmaid dresses were the first thing the bride picked for the wedding and they ended up setting the old Hollywood glamour theme. The strapless, silver silk taffeta Tadashi cocktail dresses had a black lace overlay, sash and subtle beading.
Glass and mirror mosaic candleholders surrounded the centerpieces -- glam vases with orchids, roses, and calla lilies.
The couple wed under a huppah designed by the bride. Made to look like a VIP cabana, it was draped in silver duponi silk that was tied back with an arrangement of red roses.
