The Bride Jennifer Fennell, 35, teacher The Groom Ken Kurko, 35, teacher The Date June 3 The proposal took place close to home as Jennifer and Ken were on a walk with their dog one day. They turned a corner in their neighborhood, and there, Jennifer saw signs all along the neighbors’ lawns reading, “Jennifer Fennell, You mean the world to me, I love you so much, Will you marry me?” The best part? The ring was a family heirloom -- it had been Jennifer’s grandmothers. To top it off, at the end of their eventful walk, Jennifer’s grandmother and the rest of her family were at home waiting to celebrate. Using the seaside as her inspiration and a simple blue and white color combination, Jennifer planned the intimate wedding for 106 guests all on her own.
