Brian LaMont's proposal to his girlfriend Jennifer Swift was a family matter, literally. The Bride Jennifer Swift The Groom Brian LaMont The Date March 26 The couple was visiting Jennifer's family's home on Cape Cod when Brian took Jennifer aside and asked her to marry him. The fam, of course, knew what Brian had planned and had stocked up on champagne for the occasion. They toasted the to-be-weds with a hearty meal complete with bubbly. Eight months later, Jennifer and Brian married in an urban chic wedding in Boston.

Jennifer and Brian cut a four-tier cake with a different design on each tier (one, for example, looked like the scalloped band shell in the ballroom where the wedding was held) that alternated between golden yellow cake and devil's food.
Jennifer and Brian's ceremony and the reception took place in the Oval Room of Boston's Fairmont Copley Plaza. For the cocktail hour, guests stepped into the Venetian Room while the main room was transformed for the reception.
