Though Jennifer Phillips and Robert Foskett ran with the same crowd when they started college, they didn’t become romantically linked until later. Jennifer (who’s now 28 and in corporate finance) had just returned to Boulder after a semester abroad, and Robert (who’s 29 and working in financial asset management) had found his way back from Telluride. The rest of their party declined, leaving Jenn and Rob on their own. After making their way up to the canyon wall, Jenn turned to admire the view, and when she turned back, Rob was down on one knee. Given that outdoorsy proposal, it’s no surprise that Colorado’s natural beauty provided much inspiration for Jenn and Rob’s Tabernash wedding.
