Jasmin and Nakia had met as undergrads at Louisiana State University, but didn’t actually get to know each other until nine years later when Nakia came across Jasmin’s page on a mutual friend’s MySpace! They exchanged a series of “how have you been” e-mails and then started to talk on the phone. At the time, Jasmin was living in Dallas and Nakia in Philadelphia, so it wasn’t long before Nakia invited Jasmin to visit him.
