Bryan and Jamie only knew each other casually until they ended up sitting next to each other at a Diamondbacks-Giants baseball game in Arizona. They talked about life, love, and baseball over margaritas. From that point on, their relationship blossomed. The Bride Jamie Lynn Bebbling, 30, project manager The Groom Bryan Lawrence Pate, 34, account manager The Date March 8 Bryan always said that he had a very hard time surprising Jamie, but not this time! In preparation for an upcoming trip to Paris, Jamie was having her hair done at her favorite salon. As the stylist turned her chair to face the front door, Bryan came toward Jamie with a bouquet of roses, balloons, and a bottle of champagne. You could hear a pin drop -- all eyes were on them. Bryan reached into his pocket, pulled out a small box, and opened it to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. Tears rolled down Jamie’s face as she shouted “YES!” and everyone at salon broke into applause. The couple joke that Jamie was “foiled” by Bryan: He finally surprised her -- while she had foils in her hair!

Bryan and Jamie sat at an elevated sweetheart table. Smilax garlands with roses and orchids decorated the backs of their chairs, while the unity candle from the ceremony was set on the table atop a square bed of red carnations with magenta, orange, and deep red loose flowers clustered around it. The bridal bouquet was placed in a vase on the riser in front of the table, which was surrounded with balls of solid flowers from the ceremony.
Jamie’s cousin’s daughters, Hannah and Abigail, tossed petals down the aisle. They wore ivory dresses with a pink flower pinned to the bow on the back, and coordinating flower halos in their hair.
Votive candles illuminated a centerpiece created from roses, hydrangeas, snapdragons, bells of Ireland, ranunculus, and orchids and nestled in a bed of carnations. The arrangement popped against the black place settings and apple green linens. Contrasting hot pink menus were tucked neatly into the black napkins.
The cake was decorated with green satin ribbons, orange, magenta, and red spray roses, and delicate piped details. Alongside the five-tiered confection sat two Waterford toasting flutes that had been purchased at the Waterford factory in Ireland and engraved with the couple’s names. The table was accented with votive candles and rose petals, while the ceremony arch further highlighted the tasty display.
Diehard ASU fans, Jamie and Bryan transformed the south end zone of Sun Devil Stadium into the perfect reception venue with a clear-top tent and white twinkle lights. Outside the tent, guests could chat around tall cocktail tables, enjoy hors d’oeuvres while relaxing on lounge furniture, or take snapshots in one of two photo booths. The JumboTron flashed a message thanking guests for their attendance.
During the cocktail hour, a 6'x6' cube sat on the field. Each side of the cube was covered with solid-colored carnations of magenta, orange, red, and green, while coordinating colored aluminum wire held the escort cards.
Vibrant garlands of smilax, roses, Mokara orchids, dendrobium orchids and hyacinths really popped against the black table linens. The monogram used on the program cover was also featured on their menu cards, painted in the end zone, and used to illuminate the dance floor.
Jamie carried a bouquet of roses, orchids, and hypericum berries. For her “something old,” brooches that belonged to both of her grandmothers were pinned onto the base of the bouquet, as a tribute to the women in her life who are deeply missed.
Besides their love of sports, Jamie and Bryan also share a love of dessert -- specifically, Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt! They selected four popular flavors and a variety of toppings to be served at a frozen yogurt station complete with golden spoons.
Inside the tent, two different floral centerpieces were used as table decor. On the left, curly willow trees were topped with roses, snapdragons, bells of Ireland, hydrangeas, ranunculus, Mokara orchids, and dendrobium orchids. A compact mound of roses, orchids, and ranunculus surrounded the base. The table on the right used the same flowers, placed upon a tall glass vase turned upside down, and nestled on a square bed of solid carnations.
For the second course, guests enjoyed blood orange sorbet served in sugar-rimmed martini glasses.
Green hydrangeas, magenta hyacinths, and deep red ranunculus filled mossy cones that hung on shepherd’s hooks disguised by curly willow branches. Loose rose petals and balls of solid flowers made of button mums, roses, carnations, and gerbera daisies bordered the aisle.
The wedding party and Sparky, the ASU mascot, watched as Jamie and Bryan shared their first dance to “True,” by Ryan Cabrera. The couple’s monogram spotlight moved around the floor while they danced.
Jamie and Bryan exchanged vows under an arch of hydrangeas, hyacinths, ranunculus, Mokara orchids, amaranthus, and smilax garlands. Coordinating floral arrangements were used to line the aisle at the Arizona Country Club.
