Although more than 100 people crashed her housewarming party, the moment Jaime Vines caught sight of Chad Hinkle in her living room, all of those unexpected guests seemed to disappear. “I had to walk past him to get to the kitchen. They decided on light blue to represent the ocean, sage green for the island’s abundance of sea grass, khaki for the sand, and purple for the hydrangeas that can be found at every turn. And with Jaime’s experience in design, it was a given that the couple would plan everything on their own.
