Jackie & Jason in Pittsburgh, PA

From the little red box that her engagement ring had rested in to the berry and pink roses that flooded the reception space, Jackie and Jason autumn wedding was infused with a theme that harnessed the dramatic sentiments of love. Very fitting for a couple that found the roots of their relationship in the theater. The Bride Jackie Urso, 23, an actress The Groom Jason Comisar, 26, a financial analyst The Date October 21 Jackie met Jason in Maine the summer after she had completed her first year at the University of Michigan. I was working there as a musical theater performer playing Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man. Jason was a maintenance guy, says Jackie. At the end of August, I headed back to Ann Arbor and Jason headed on a road trip across the country. He ended that trip early to come and visit me. Over the next three years, Jason put 100,000 miles on his car traveling from his home in Cincinnati to visit Jackie at school in Ann Arbor or at home in Pittsburgh. After her graduation, the couple decided to move to the Big Apple together. Amidst one busy day's search for an apartment, Jason managed to pull off a romantic dinner at a hip Tribeca restaurant, where waiters took part in a staged proposal. Two waiters dramatically lifted big silver domes from our plates, remembers Jackie. I was looking at Jason's plate trying to figure out why there wasn't anything on it, and then I looked at my own plate and saw a little red box.
