"Jeff and I knew each other in high school but didn't really get to know each other unto several years later. He had joined the military, I had moved several times, with a lot of prayer and a little grace, we ended up together," says Ashley. Ashley and Jeff were the first to hold a wedding ceremony at the Clarksburg Amphitheater in Clarksburg, West Virginia. The wedding location was special to Ashley because she had always gone camping with her family as a little girl in Clarksburg and had sung at the Clarksburg Amphitheater. The open, outdoor space was decked out with flowers from her mother's garden on the wedding day, along with pink and green accents. Rustic decorations of old lanterns and suitcases filled the reception venue at Harrison County 4-H Center. Ashley and Jeff kept the menu simple with grilled chicken and pasta catered by Jimmy's Diner, and for dessert a sweet dessert buffet with cookies, pies and the wedding cake. It was important for the couple to have God be the focal point of the day. At the ceremony, a friend read scripture while others sang religious songs, such as "How Great Thou Art", "My Beloved" and "Your Grace Still Amazes Me".  "He [God] was the one who brought us together. We just wanted it to be about Him because that's who we center our life around," says Ashley.
