Influencer "Clara And Herself" Shares Her Waterfront Wedding at Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida

Clara Guillem, the content creator behind @claraandherself, and Bradley Macciocchi, a sales manager, tied the knot at Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Florida, with a memorable celebration that included a private vow exchange, time spent with their two pups and plenty of laughs with the couple's wedding party.

"Our theme is whimsical and natural," explains Clara of the white-and-green wedding. "In a way, it’s inspired by Taylor Swift’s album Folklore. We really want to highlight natural beauty with lots of greenery and soft colors." The colors of the day weren't the only elements of the Florida wedding inspired by the Grammy-winning artist—as another nod to Taylor Swift, Clara walked down the aisle to "Lover," by Taylor Swift, which was the song playing when Bradley proposed to Clara. As Clara recalls the proposal, "'Lover,' by Taylor Swift was playing in the background and my knees absolutely gave out from the overwhelming emotion. Bradley got down on one knee and said some words neither of us can remember because we were so nervous we blacked out!"

Though the couple met on a dating app in Nashville, Clara and Brad both have ties to Florida so it was the perfect spot for their wedding. "I grew up in Sarasota and Bradley’s family has a house in Sarasota as well. When we met in Nashville, this was a complete coincidence and a bonding point for us. The Powel Crosley Estate is a beautiful venue on the water with lots of outdoor and indoor space. We picked it because we loved the versatility and the beautiful Florida landscape as well as the gorgeous architecture of the Estate. Also, the vibes just felt right. It felt like our place before we even saw it," explains the Tiktok influencer.

While Taylor Swift's Folklore inspired much of the wedding day, Leon Bridges was a must for the couple's first dance song selection. The couple choreographed their performance to "Beyond," by Leon Bridges because the song holds a special place in their relationship story. "Before we were dating, Bradley would always play it in the car and I would wonder if it meant anything since in the song Bridges says: it’s more than just our bodies at night... will she be my wife?' Once they started dating, we would dance around the kitchen to it and said we would dance to it at the wedding. And now we are!"

In addition to personalizing the music of the Florida wedding, Clara and Bradley also paid special attention to customizing the menu, especially the desserts they served. Clara was born in France, and her family owns a macaron business, so top-notch pastries, such a macaron and choux, were a must.

Looking back on the wedding day, the influencer encourages other current to-be-weds to not be afraid to "be selfish! It’s your special day, put your own needs first and the people who matter most will be so happy for you."
