In Baltimore’s American Visionary Art Museum, natives Eve Finstein (32 and a project manager) and Melissa Schreibstein (37 and a trainer and leadership coach) found a fit. “We wanted something with character that went beyond a standard ballroom,” Eve says. The artsy backdrop influenced many wedding details. Their invite design resembled painted brush strokes, and the party was splashed with color. Case in point: the brides’ brothers wore pink yarmulkes and guests drank bright Orange Crush, Baltimore’s signature sip. After a Jewish ceremony, the newlyweds entered the reception to Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls).” There, guests found escort cards printed on coasters, an ode to the pair’s love of craft beer. “We wanted our wedding to reflect our relaxed, silly nature, yet still have all of the comforts needed to ensure guests had fun,” Eve says. Patterns and pops of pink, blue and green lent a whimsical atmosphere to the day, and garden roses and ranunculus dressed up the confetti cake.
