One Couple's Industrial Garden Wedding With Traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony in Wichita, Kansas

Erica had a very clear vision for her wedding to Jonathan. “I’d call our style an ‘industrial garden,’ ” Erica says. “I focused heavily on the flowers, which brought our wedding to the next level.” Erica illustrated the invites herself, sketching blooms in Photoshop and ripping the edges of the paper. One thing she didn’t plan on: Jonathan’s groomsmen surprising the newlyweds with their own fireworks show. “It made the night so special,” Erica says.

To bring Erica’s vision of an industrial garden to life, the pair topped tables with white flowers and greenery alongside hanging Edison bulbs, string lights and candles. “There was such a nice glow to the atmosphere,” Erica says. 

The pair cut into a gold, black and white dessert made with layers of white, carrot, chocolate and strawberry cake. Just in case guests needed more sweets, the newlyweds also offered scoops from an ice cream truck.
