Huong Ngo and Daniel Martin's courtship was unique, to say the least. Instead of getting to know each other over coffee or a cocktail, the two set up a secret mailbox in a garden in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (both were students), and left each other photos, poems, and notes. Huong finally invited Daniel to a play, and a full-fledged romance was born. Just three months into their courtship, Daniel proposed and hasn't stopped since, reports Huong. The two celebrated with two weddings: a party at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center and an intimate Vietnamese tea ceremony. The Bride Huong Ngo The Groom Daniel Martin The Date May 21

Huong spent the morning before the wedding with her soon-to-be mother- and sister-in-law selecting flowers at Your Dekalb Farmers Market.
Huong and Daniel worked on the invitations and programs together. They included puzzles and decoder cards made from old computer punch cards that revealed secret messages. The invitation message was Huong and Daniel sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. The programs continued the theme with the message First comes love ... then comes marriage. Many of our friend thought I was pregnant after this stunt, Huong says. The program also contained a square sheet of origami paper and instructions on how to make an origami heart.
The Centerpieces
In lieu of a veil, Huong wore a white feather cap that she created to go with her dress.
