Handstitched Chuppah Tallit

Hayley and Jared exchanged personalized vows under an elaborate floral and vine-draped chuppah. As an extra special touch, they included a tallit handmade by Jared’s late mother in her remembrance. “Elaine made the tallit for her brother’s wedding more than 20 years ago. Her brother saved it and upon learning that it had been preserved, we asked to borrow it for our ceremony,” says Hayley. “We embroidered our names of he tallit, next to the other couples’ names. It meant a lot to us to get married under the chuppah made by Elaine. We felt that she was there with us at the wedding ceremony.”
