When it came to planning a memorable wedding, Taylor and Andrew had a distinct advantage: Taylor’s family owns Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park in Lakeview, Georgia. The couple wanted a wedding that they described as “formal fun.” Clad in black-tie dress, 225 guests rode a railway to a reception with champagne, a string quartet and roller coaster rides. The college sweethearts skipped a seated dinner in favor of heavy hors d’oeuvres and a shrimp-and-grits bar, plus red velvet and Coca-Cola cakes. Naturally, fireworks, cotton candy and a glow-in-the-dark dance party rounded out the festivities. A custom monogram appeared on everything from beer koozies to a flag flying atop the roller coaster. Since the venue was plenty colorful, the couple stuck to white and navy for the décor. They incorporated family heirlooms like framed photos, silver dishes and coupes for the champagne toast.
