The save-the-dates boldly declared the wedding’s date, December 14, the same day Nicole’s parents were married. “This date turned out to be my late parents' anniversary. My parents got married December 14, 1980,” Nicole says. “Unfortunately, both of my parents have passed away from cancer, but I thought this date was meant to be. My parents had a wonderful marriage, and I hope to emulate what they had.”
