“Gold—that was the only major request I had for the cake,” Andrea says. Two of the layers were designed to mimic the brick walls of their venue. The impressive confection was two flavors—chocolate with vanilla frosting and strawberries and Fiore de Cecilia, a white cake with orange zest filled with lemon curd. “It was amazing,” Andrea recalls.
