Gold and White Set the Tone at This Glam Wedding at Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, Florida

Esther and Damola's wedding was truly a globetrotting affair—the Maryland-based duo chose Florida as their wedding venue but the inspiration for the big day came straight for the rolling hills of Tuscany. To add to the global inspiration many of the guests attending even sported British-inspired fascinator headpieces. When it came to infusing Tuscan elegance into the wedding decor, the couple chose a gold-and-white color palette to help bring a refined glam aesthetic into the celebration. To start the day, Esther and Damola shared a first look among palm trees before exchanging vows in the venue's hedge-lined courtyard. "Our ceremony was an outdoor event under a Venetian-style gazebo styled in luxury silk chiffon and white and gold roses," recalls Esther of the stunning venue for the couple's vow exchange. After the wedding ceremony guests decamped to the ballroom to enjoy a regal reception complete with a custom dance floor and gilded wedding cake. "Our reception was a dream. Our Venetian ballroom was styled in gold and white. We had gold acrylic chairs and tables situated underneath the venue's crystal chandeliers," recalls Esther of the over-the-top wedding reception.
