Glamorous Alvina Valenta Mermaid-Style Gown

Alexia envisioned herself walking down the aisle in a romantic lace sheath gown, but gave a dramatic mermaid-style gown a go after some coaxing from Jason’s daughter Emma. “I knew right then that I had been trying on the wrong dress style all along. It was beautiful, but the fit was a little off, so I took that picture back to the first salon, which had the perfect dress—the gorgeous Alvina Valenta gown I wore on my wedding day,” Alexia says. Delicate lace and a sculptural horsehair ruffle skirt added whimsy and romance to Alexia’s down-the-aisle look, while a fitted, strapless silhouette delivered just the right amount of va-va-va-voom. She completed the ensemble with a chapel-length veil and vintage sapphire drop earrings, a birthday gift from Jason.
