To celebrate their marriage, Chase and Pranith planned a glam, extravagant black-and-white ballroom wedding at Hotel Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. With flower-filled invitations designed by Pranith, the couple asked 50 of their closest loved ones to celebrate with them at the hotel wedding. Once the wedding rolled around, the big day included getting ready with their pup, portraits at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and bespoke details at every turn.

"We wanted to keep our day very formal, glamorous, modern, yet timeless," explains Pranith. "We stuck to a black-and-white color palette with small pops of gold to keep in line with this timeless theme. Our wedding was only 50 guests, so we really wanted a wow experience for everyone in attendance from start to finish." The couple's decision to keep the guest list small was a very intentional one. Pranith notes that "it was very important to us that we keep this intimate and special, and I think we were lucky given that we were getting married a little later in life, so we knew who was here to stay. Our rule of thumb was, if the person has not been a part of our collective story/life together for the past 8 years, then they don't make the list."

Pranith goes on to share that "we had a very clear vision for what we wanted our reception to look like. We had two mood boards: one for the event overall and then another one just for the flowers. We would always use the vision boards as a point of reference so every person that we worked with to bring this to fruition knew exactly what we were going for." It was only natural that the couple would have a separate mood board for their floral arrangements, because, as Pranith notes, "flowers were a VERY important element in our wedding." The couple wanted their floral designer to "make the space look like a modern English Garden. It was a very modern, cold place, so we wanted to juxtapose that with an abundance of greenery and flowers to bring that softness in."

In addition to an abundance of floral elements, Chase and Pranith also filled their Missouri wedding with ample personalization. "Personalization and details were everything. We took our monogram to the next level and put it on everything, from our invitations to charms for champagne glasses. Also, the signage was very important. From the welcome sign to the bar menus, they were all custom acrylic signs to give a modern touch. The night ended with a Chicago Dog hot dog bar and french fries because Chicago is where we moved from and really where our relationship started."
