With only eight months to plan, Gina and Jim pulled together an elegant fall-themed Friday night celebration. The Bride Gina Campbell The Groom James (Jim) Moore The Date September 3 Gina, 34 and an ob-gyn, had recently begun taking basic English-style riding lessons when her instructor (who was also a friend) introduced her to another friend, Jim, 38 and a professional equestrian competitor and trainer. Gina scheduled a private lesson with Jim that wound up turning into lunch and, soon enough, the two were seeing each other exclusively. Though Gina says she can’t pin down the exact time when they started discussing getting married, one winter afternoon Jim popped the question. “The tenderness in his face as he asked just reduced me to tears,” she remembers. Gina’s tears of joy were barely dry when the couple started planning a wedding eight months down the road. Together, the pair chose an elegant fall-color scheme for many of their big-day details, making it easy to pull everything together visually.

Gina’s two attendants chose their gowns themselves: floor-length silk crepe dresses in a deep garnet red by Watters. “I wanted them to be stunning, and to wear something they might consider wearing again,” Gina says.
Guests of Gina and James’ wedding headed inside the event center for the reception. “The space was very simple -- a large room with hardwood floors and lots of windows, so the light was amazing,” Gina says.
