Family Farm First Look

While the ceremony was set to take place outdoors, biting winds blew in during the rehearsal dinner, bringing the year’s first snow with it. “This was worrisome since our ceremony was to take place outside and we had done so much work to have it there,” Julia says. “The morning of the wedding, Matt and I did a first look hiding behind a hay stack in the field, and I am so glad we did. It calmed our nerves and let me take in all the details step by step. Once we were back inside to warm up, our wedding planner asked us to decide whether to move everything indoors. Matt and I looked at each other and instantly knew that we had to have it outside.”
