Emily and Tim affectionately dubbed their vows the "E.T. wedding" in honor of their initials. The result: a day filled with fun, extraterrestrial-inspired details. The pair tied the knot at a family friend's property tucked into a canyon in San Luis Obispo. Not only does the home overlook an oak-filled meadow and a creek, it also features a treehouse and a C45 Army airplane-turned-guest house.

Emily's sister illustrated stickers depicting the pair's fave alien sipping a cocktail to fill welcome bags. The lounging E.T. also made an appearance on the weekend's itinerary. When it came to save-the-dates, Emily and Tim decided to skip portraits and instead, completed the suite with illustrations of E.T.

Illustrated floral cards topped tables alongside bright dahlias. The couple channeled their funky-rustic vision by finishing the wood tables with tie-dyed napkins. Emily's sister potted each of the plants for centerpieces. Guests took home E.T. buttons and handmade lavender soap bars in moth-stamped bags.

The newlyweds cut into a cake finished with dried flowers pressed by Emily's mom, who also grew many of the day's other blooms.
