Erin and Chuck were friends throughout high school (the pair met the first day of freshman year), but it was a project their senior year that foretold the couple’s future: They were partners in a project for religion class in which their assignment was to plan a wedding ceremony. “So, essentially, we were married twice!” Erin says. They became close friends during the summer, and when they returned to school in the fall, Erin and Chuck realized they were perfect for each other. After Chuck proposed at a winery, the couple began planning a beach-themed wedding (in honor of the place they fell in love) at another winery near their ceremony site.
