Instead of an engagement ring from her boyfriend, Todd, Emily was expecting a piece of chocolate. A year after the couple had been dating Emily was trying to prepare her classroom for the upcoming school year before leaving the next day to visit family. She was so consumed with getting done in time that she was, well, cranky. To try and cheer her up, Todd lured Emily home for what she thought was a snack. Todd of course had an ulterior motive in mind. It was the perfect union for the pair, who had met briefly in high school and then again after college, when they were actually old enough to date. After a two-year engagement, they chose to have their summer wedding aboard the three decks of a river cruiser so that the city lights of Pittsburgh could be a moving backdrop for their celebration.
